In mathematics, 'e' refers to Euler's number which is an irrational number as it cannot be written as a simple fraction.

As we know that as per laws of exponents, the value of any number raised to the power 0 is 1. 

⇒ e⁰ = 1

'e' is the exponential constant and to find the value of 'e', we will use 

⇒ e¹ = \(\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\) = 1/ n!

By putting the value of n = 0, 1, 2, 3, ......, ∞ in this we get,

⇒ e¹ = 2.7182.....

Thus, the value of e⁰ is 1 and e¹ is 2.72 (approximate value)
