= 8 + 24
= 32
x = [-2√2 ± √32]/2(1)
x = [-2√2 ± 4√2]/2
x = -√2 ± 2√2
Now, x = - √2 - 2√2 = -3√2
x = -√2 + 2√2 = √2
Therefore, the roots of the equation are √2 and -3√2
