Solution:

A rational number is a number that is of the form p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0.

Example: 3/5, -2/5, 0/1

We know that -2 is a rational number as it can in the form of p/q which is -2/1.

We can write infinitely many rational numbers greater than - 2

Five rational numbers greater than -2 are -1, 0, 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4.
