Let's write each of the following as decimals:

(a) 20 + 9 + 4/10 + 1/100

= 20 + 9 + 0.4 + 0.01 = 29.41

(b) 137 + 5/100

= 137 + 0.05 = 137.05

(c) 7/10 + 6/100 + 4/1000

= 0.7 + 0.06 + 0.004 = 0.764

(d) 23 + 2/10 + 6/1000

= 23 + 0.2 + 0.006 = 23.206

(e) 700 + 20 + 5 + 9/100

= 700 + 20 + 5 + 0.09 = 725.09
