Solution:
Given, (m + n) (m² - mn + n²) = m³ + n³
L.H.S = (m + n) (m² - mn + n²)
= m³ - m²n +mn² + nm² - mn² + n³
= m³ + n³
= R.H.S
✦ Try This: Verify: (m + n) (m² - mn + n²) = m³ + n³, if m = 10 and n = 6
Given, (m + n) (m² - mn + n²) = m³ + n³ and m = 10 and n = 6
Substituting the values of m and n,
L.H.S. = (m + n) (m² - mn + n²)
= (10 + 6) (10² - (10)(6) + 6²)
= 16 (76) = 1216
R.H.S = m³ + n³
= 10³ + 6³
= 1000 + 216 = 1216
L.H.S. = R.H.S.
