Solution:

Given, (5x + 8)² - 160x = (5x - 8)²

L.H.S = (5x + 8)² - 160x

= (5x)² + 2(5x)(8) + 64 - 160x

= 25x² + 80x + 64 - 160x

= 25x² - 80x + 64

= (5x - 8)²

= R.H.S

L.H.S. = R.H.S.

Given, (5x - 4y)² + 80xy = (5x + 4y)²

L.H.S. = (5x - 4y)² + 80xy

= 25x² - 40xy + 16y²

= (5x - 4y)²

= R.H.S
