Three angles of a quadrilateral are 50°, 40° and 123°. Find its fourth angle.
Solution:
Given, the angles of a quadrilateral are 50°, 40° and 123°.
We have to find the value of the fourth angle.
Let the fourth angle be x.
We know that the sum of the angles of a quadrilateral is equal to 360 degrees.
So, 50° + 40° + 123° + x = 360°
90° + 123° + x = 360°
213° + x = 360°
x = 360° - 213°
x = 147°
Therefore, the value of x is 147°
