Given, the table gives the flavours of ice cream liked by children (boys and girls) of a society.
(a) We have to draw a bar graph for given data by choosing appropriate scale.
(b) We have to find the flavour most liked by the boys.
From the graph,
The flavour most liked by the boys is Butterscotch.
(c) We have to find the total number of girls.
Number of girls = 8 + 12 + 7 + 9 + 10 = 46
(d) We have to count the number of children who like the chocolate flavour of ice cream.
Number of girls who like chocolate flavour = 12
Number of boys who like chocolate flavour = 9
Total number of children = 12 + 9 = 21
(e) We have to find the ratio of children who like strawberry flavour to vanilla flavour of ice cream.
Number of girls who like strawberry flavour = 3
Number of boys who like strawberry flavour = 7
Total number of children = 3 + 7 = 10
Number of girls who like vanilla flavour = 4
Number of boys who like vanilla flavour = 8
Total number of children = 4 + 8 = 12
Ratio = 10/12
= 5 : 6
