(a) 1 : 50
(b) 1 : 5
(c) 2 : 1
(d) 1 : 2
Solution:
Given, the heights of two persons are 1.50 m and 75 cm.
We have to find the ratio of the heights of two persons.
Let the height of first person be 1.50 m
We know 1 m = 100 cm
So, 1.50 m = 1.50 × 100
= 150 cm
The height of first person = 150 cm
Let the height of second person be 75 cm
Ratio = 150 : 75
= 30 : 15
= 2 : 1
Therefore, the required ratio is 2 : 1
