Sales tax on T- Shirt = 7% of 1200 = (7/100) × 1200 = Rs. 84
Total cost of T-shirt to shikha = Rs. 1200 + Rs. 84 = Rs. 1284
Sales Tax on jeans = 7% of 1000 = (7/100) × 1000 = Rs. 70
Total cost of Jean to shikha = Rs. 1000 + Rs. 70 = Rs. 1070
Sales Tax on 2 skirts worth Rs. 1350 each = (7/100) × (2 × 1350) = Rs. 189
Total cost of of two skirts to shikha = Rs. 2700 + Rs.189 = Rs. 2889
The total cost of all items purchased by Shikha = Rs. 1284 + Rs. 1070 + Rs. 2889 = Rs. 5243
