Solve : (3x + 2)/(2x - 3) = -3/4
Solution:
Given, the equation is (3x + 2)/(2x - 3) = -3/4
We have to solve the equation
On solving the equation for x,
(3x + 2)/(2x - 3) = -3/4
4(3x + 2) = -3(2x - 3)
4(3x) + 4(2) = -3(2x) - 3(-3)
12x + 8 = -6x + 9
By transposing,
12x + 6x = 9 - 8
18x = 1
x = 1/18
Therefore, the value of x is 1/18
