NCERT Solutions Class 12 Maths Chapter 7 Exercise 7.9 Integrals
NCERT Solutions for Class 12 maths Chapter 7 exercise 7.9 Integrals elaborates the fundamental theorem of Calculus including all the different aspects of integral calculus. These theorems will enable us to evaluate definite integrals by making use of anti-derivatives. The previous exercise of this chapter talks about how to evaluate the definite integrals as a limit of a sum. In this section, students will further expand their knowledge about evaluating the definite integrals by using antiderivatives. The first fundamental theorem of integral calculus defined in this section states that if ‘f’ is a continuous function on the closed interval [a, b] and A (x) as the area function. Then A′(x) = f (x), for all x ∈ [a, b]. The second fundamental theorem of integral calculus states that if F is the antiderivative of a function f(x) then,
∫ab f(x) dx = F(b) – F(a) = value of the anti-derivative ‘F’ of ‘f’ at the upper limit b – value of the same anti-derivative at the lower limit a.
NCERT solutions Class 12 maths Chapter 7 exercise 7.9 consists of 22 questions based on evaluating a function by calculating the anti-derivative difference at the upper and lower limits. To solve the questions in this exercise, it is essential to understand the property that the integral of a function is the inverse of differentiation and how it geometrically represents the area under the curve of a function. NCERT Solutions Class 12 Maths Chapter 7 Exercise 7.9 Tips
NCERT solutions Class 12 maths Chapter 7 exercise 7.9 provides a range of problems based on calculating the anti-derivative of definite integrals. The already acquired understanding of differentiation is quite important for solving all these questions. This is a fairly simple exercise once kids understand general integration as definite integrals is an extension of this concept.
The questions in the NCERT solutions Class 12 maths Chapter 7 require more knowledge of the previously studied integration concepts for applying them to definite integrals. Students must try to implement a thorough learning approach to refrain from miscalculations. A sound mathematical foundation will eventually help them to get a good score in examinations.
