NCERT Solutions Class 11 Maths Chapter 10 Exercise 10.1 Straight Lines
In NCERT Solutions for Class 11 maths Chapter 10 exercise 10.1, we have measured geometrical shapes and calculated their area or perimeter using the measures such as the length of the sides and the angles which the adjacent sides make with each other. The questions in this exercise give us a new tool to learn and measure geometrical shapes. This new tool is coordinate geometry. So, instead of having the measure of the length of sides, we now get to know the location coordinates of a particular with respect to a fixed point called the 'Origin'. Using the location of the coordinates of the vertices we can draw the shape. We can also determine its size by finding out the length of its sides thereby calculating the area or perimeter of the given shape. The NCERT solutions Class 11 maths Chapter 10 exercise 10.1 consists of 14 questions, of which 7 are short and 7 long answer type questions.
This exercise also consists of vital questions based on finding the slope of a line. Using this, the problems can ask kids to identify if two lines are perpendicular or parallel to each other as well as determine the angle between two intersecting lines. The sums in this exercise are driven towards helping students recollect the topics they had learned in previous classes and solve questions on the same using a different approach. NCERT Solutions Class 11 Maths Chapter 10 Exercise 10.1 Tips
NCERT solutions Class 11 maths Chapter 10 exercise 10.1 Straight Lines is about navigating the ecosystem provided by coordinate geometry. The two perpendicular axes known as X and Y axis are the key pillars on which the co-ordinate geometry rests. The students are advised to have a correct sense of direction to better understand the problems.
NCERT solutions Class 11 maths Chapter 10 exercise 10.1 encourages kids to juggle with different inputs of information regarding a point plotted between the X and Y-axis. This exercise sees the use of several formulas hence, kids are advised to make a formula chart in order to get a good understanding of the concepts. Once kids have successfully attempted these problems they will be able to find the slope of a straight line and how to interpret the answer graphically.
