John borrowed ₹75000 from his friend.

John returned ₹80000 to his friend after one year.

We have to find the interest.

We know, Amount = Principal + Interest.

According to the question,

Amount = ₹80000

Principal = ₹75000

Interest = 80000 - 75000

= 5000

Therefore, interest is ₹5000
