According to the question,
P = ₹12500
R = 18%
T = 2 years and 4 months = 2 + 4/12
= 2 + 1/3
= 7/3 years
We know, Interest, I = P × R × T/100
= 12500 × 18 × 7/100 × 3
= 12500 × 6 × 7/100
= 125 × 6 × 7
= ₹5250
