Indicate which pairs of angles are:
(i) Vertically opposite angles

Solution:
Vertically opposite angles are those pairs of equal angles that are exactly opposite to each other when two lines intersect.
Linear pairs are those angles that add up to 180 degrees and form a line.
(i) ∠1 and ∠4, ∠5 and (∠2 + ∠3) are vertically opposite angles as they formed due to the intersection of two straight lines.
(ii) ∠1 and ∠5, ∠5 and ∠4 forms linear pair.
