In ∆ PQR, ∠R = ∠P and QR = 4 cm and PR = 5 cm. Then the length of PQ is
a. 4 cm
b. 5 cm
c. 2 cm
d. 2.5 cm
Solution:
It is given that
In ∆ PQR, ∠R = ∠P
QR = 4 cm
PR = 5 cm
Here ∠R = ∠P then ∆ PQR is an isosceles triangle
We know that
PQ = QR
So PQ = 4 cm
Therefore, the length of PQ is 4 cm.
✦ Try This: In ∆ ABC, ∠C = ∠A and BC = 2 cm and AC = 3 cm. Then the length of AB is a. 2 cm, b. 3 cm, c. 4 cm, d. 4.5 cm
