In Fig.8.2, ABCD and AEFG are two parallelograms. If ∠C = 55º, determine ∠F.
Solution:
From the figure,
ABCD and AEFG are two parallelograms
AD or AG and AB or AE are the two sides which are sharing
∠C = 55º
As the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal
∠F = ∠A
∠A = ∠C
So we get
∠F = ∠C
As ∠C = 55º, ∠F = 55º
Therefore, ∠F = 55º.
