We need to find the values of a and b.
Considering QP || RS with PR as transversal,
If two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal, each pair of alternate interior angles are equal.
So, ∠QPR = ∠SRP
From the figure,
∠a = 65°
If two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal, each pair of corresponding angles is equal.
So, ∠SRT = ∠PQR
From the figure,
∠b = 70°
Therefore the values of a and b are 65° and 70° respectively.
