Solution:
Given, l || m and a line t intersects the lines at P and Q
We need to find the sum of 2a + b.
We know that the vertically opposite angles are equal.
∠AQB = ∠FQP
b = 132°
Considering l and m are parallel with t as transversal,
If two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal, each pair of corresponding angles is equal.
So, ∠EPD = ∠PQF
From the figure,
a = 132°
Now, 2a + b = 2(132°) + 132°
= 264° + 132°
= 396°
Therefore, 2a + b = 396°
