Solution:

Let us add the scores.

Scores of team A = - 40, 10, 0

Total score of team A = - 40 + 10 + 0 = -30

Scores of team B = 10, 0, - 40

Total scores of team B = 10 + 0 + (- 40) = -30

So, the scores of both teams are equal.

We observe that the scores obtained by both teams are numerically equal, but their order of scores is different. Hence, we can add integers in any order.
