If p/q = (3/2)² ÷ (9/4)⁰, find the value of (p/q)³

Solution:

Given, p/q = (3/2)² ÷ (9/4)⁰

We have to find the value of (p/q)³.

Considering (9/4)⁰,

We know a⁰ = 1

(9/4)⁰ = (9)⁰/(4)⁰

(9)⁰ = 1

(4)⁰ = 1

Now, (9/4)⁰ = 1/1 = 1

Considering (3/2)²,

(3/2)² = (3 × 3)/(2 × 2)

= 9/4

(3/2)² ÷ (9/4)⁰ = (9/4) ÷ 1

= 9/4

Therefore, p/q = 9/4

On cubing both sides,

(p/q)³ = (9/4)³

= (9 × 9 × 9)/(4 × 4 × 4)

= 729/64

Therefore, (p/q)³ = 729/64
