A person is selected at random.
We have to find the probability of the person having age from 30 to 39 years.
Probability of an event = Number of trials in which the event has happened / Total number of trials
From the given table,
Number of workers whose age is from 30 to 39 years = 27
So, the number of trials in which the event has happened = 27
Total number of workers = 38 + 27 + 86 + 46 + 3 = 200
Probability that the person is under 40 years = 27/200
= 0.135
Therefore, the probability of the person having age from 30 to 39 years is 0.135
