How many times a wheel of radius 28 cm must rotate to go 352 m? (Take π = 22/7)
Solution:
Radius of wheel = 28 cm
Circumference of wheel = 2πr
= 2 × 22/7 × 28 cm
= 2 × 22 × 4 cm
= 176 cm
Total distance = 352 m = 35200 cm
Number of times the wheel should rotate = Total distance covered by wheel / Circumference of the wheel
= 35200/176
= 200
