Solution:

C - 5 = 8

C = 3

B - 1 - C = 8

B - 1 - 3 = 8

B = 12 which means B = 2

A - 1 - B = 4

A - 1 - 2 = 4

A = 7

D = 8 - 7 = 8 - 7 = 1

A = 7; B = 2; C = 3; D = 1

A - 5 = 7

A = 12 which means

A = 2

B - 1- 3 = C

B = C + 4

2 - B = 8
