Find the value of following polynomial at m = 1, n = -1 and p = 2: m²n² + n²p² + p²m²
Solution:
The given polynomial is m²n² + n²p² + p²m²
We have to find the value of the polynomial at m = 1, n = -1 and p = 2.
m² = (1)² = 1
n² = (-1)² = 1
p² = (2)² = 4
m²n² = (1)(1) = 1
n²p² = (1)(4) = 4
p²m² = (4)(1) = 4
Now, m²n² + n²p² + p²m² = 1 + 4 + 4
= 1 + 8
= 9
Therefore, m²n² + n²p² + p²m² = 9
