Find the supplement of each of the following angles:
Solution:
In a pair of angles, if the sum of the values of the angles is always equal to that of 180°, then the angles are known as supplementary angles.
If the given angle is x, then we can find the supplement by subtracting x from 180°.
(𝑖) Given angle = 105°
Supplement angle of 105°= 180° − Given angle
180° − 105° = 75°
(𝑖𝑖) Given angle = 87°
Supplement angle of 87°= 180° − Given angle
180° − 87° = 93°
(𝑖𝑖𝑖) Given angle = 154°
Supplement angle of 154°=180° − Given angle
180° − 154° = 26°
