Given, 3/13 ÷ -4/65
We have to find the reciprocal of the given expression.
Reciprocal means an expression which when multiplied by another expression, gives unity (1) as a result.
The reciprocal of any quantity is, one divided by that quantity.
Reciprocal of -4/65 = 1/(-4/65) = -65/4
Now, 3/13 ÷ -4/65 = (3/13) × (-65)/4
= 3 × (-65) / (13 × 4)
= -195/52
On dividing the numerator and denominator by 3,
= (-195/3) / (52/3)
= -65/14
Reciprocal of -65/14 = 1/(-65/14)
= -14/65
Therefore, the reciprocal is -14/65
