Find the numerical coefficient of each of the terms: x³y²z, xy²z³, -3xy²z³, 5x³y²z, -7x²y²z²
Solution:
Given, the terms are x³y²z, xy²z³, -3xy²z³, 5x³y²z, -7x²y²z²
We have to find the numerical coefficient of each of the terms.
Numerical coefficient represents a numerical factor in a term.
Numerical coefficient of x³y²z = 1
Numerical coefficient of xy²z³ = 1
Numerical coefficient of -3xy²z³ = -3 × xy²z³
= -3
Numerical coefficient of 5x³y²z = 5 × x³y²z
= 5
Numerical coefficient of -7x²y²z² = -7 × x²y²z²
= -7
Therefore, the numerical coeffiecients are 1, 1, -3, 5 and -7.
