Solution:

The figure represents a rectangle and a triangle

We have to find the area enclosed by the figure.

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

= 15 × 3

= 45 cm²

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Base = 15 - 10 = 5 cm

Height = 4 cm

Area of triangle = 1/2 × 5 × 4

= 5(2)

= 10 cm²

Area enclosed by the figure = area of triangle + area of rectangle

= 10 + 45

= 55 cm²

Therefore, the area enclosed by the figure is 55 cm²
