We have to express the number in standard form.

Such a form of a number is called its standard form or scientific notation.

For standard form,

= 7.647 × 10³ × 10³

Considering 10³ × 10³,

For any non-zero integers ‘a’ and ‘b’ and whole numbers m and n,

a^m × aⁿ = a^{m + n}

Here, a = 10, m = 3 and n = 3

m + n = 3 + 3

= 6

10³ × 10³ = 10⁶

So, 7647000 = 7.467 × 10⁶
