Express the following in single exponential form: (- 3)³ × (-10)³
Solution:
Given, (- 3)³ × (-10)³.
We have to express it in a single exponential form.
For any non-zero integers ‘a’ and ‘b’ and whole numbers m and n,
am × bm = (a × b)m
Considering (- 3)³ × (-10)³,
Here, a = -3 and b = -10
Also, m = 3
(a × b)m = ((-3) × (-10))³
= (3 × 10)³
= 30³
Therefore, the required value is 30³.
