We have to express the rational number with 36 as the denominator.
If the numerator and denominator of a rational number are multiplied or divided by a non-zero integer, we get a rational number which is said to be equivalent to the given rational number.
Considering 3/4,
To make the denominator as 36, we have to multiply the numerator and denominator by 9
3/4 = 3 × 9 / 4 × 9
= 27/36
Therefore, 3/4 with the denominator as 36 is 27/36.
