Solution:
Steps of construction
1. Construct a line segment BC of length 5.5 cm
2. Construct an angle of 120° on the point B and produce it to ray Y.
3. Construct an angle of 30° on the point C and produce it to ray X
4. Now extend BY and CX to intersect at the point A.
Therefore, ABC is the required triangle.
