(i) x + 3 = 0 , x = 3

L.H.S = x + 3, R.H.S = 0

By putting, x = 3

L.H.S = 3 + 3 = 6 ≠ R.H.S

(ii) x + 3 = 0, x = 0

L.H.S = x + 3, R.H.S = 0

By putting, x = 0;

L.H.S = 0 + 3 = 3 ≠ R.H.S

(iii) x + 3 = 0, x = -3

L.H.S = x + 3, R.H.S = 0

By putting, x = -3

(iv) x - 7 = 1, x = 7

L.H.S = m/3 , R.H.S = 2
