Example : 0.3, 0.4, etc

A number that can be expressed in the form p/q , where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0, is called a rational number.

Example : 3/4, 4/7, etc

We know, 0.3 = 3/10

Similarly, 4/10 = 0.4

Therefore, the given statement is true.
