The discount is always calculated on the Marked Price. The marked price in the given problem statement is Rs. 800.

The discount is calculated @15% as shown below:

15% × 800

= (15/100) × 800

= 15 × 8

= 120

Since the Marked price is Rs. 800 the discounted price will be :

Rs. 800 - Rs. 120 = Rs. 680

Therefore the discounted price is Rs. 680 when a discount of 15% is given on a marked price of Rs. 800.
