We have to add the expressions

On adding the expressions,

= ab + bc + ca + (- bc - ca - ab)

By combining like terms,

= ab - ab + bc - bc + ca - ca

By distributive property,

= (1 - 1)ab + (1 - 1)bc + (1 - 1)ca

= (0)ab + (0)bc + (0) ca

= 0

Therefore, the sum of the expressions is 0.
