Solution:
Given, F = 20
V = 12
We have to find the number of edges of the given polyhedron.
Euler’s formula for any polyhedron is given by
F + V – E = 2
Where F stands for number of faces,
V for number of vertices
E for number of edges.
Now, 20 + 12 - E = 2
32 - E = 2
E = 32 - 2
E = 30
Therefore, the number of edges is 30.
