    Therefore, the number 16.656 rounds off to the nearest hundredth as 16.66

    Round off the number 45.3426 to the nearest hundredth.

    Solution:

    The 3rd digit after the decimal point of the number 45.3426 is 2

    Now as the number 2 is less than 5, so, we will keep the hundredth (2nd) place digit as it is.

    45.3426 ⇒ 45.34

    Therefore, the number 45.3426 rounds off to the nearest hundredth as 45.34
