Considering initial rectangular field,
Length = 32 m
Width = 26 m
Area = 32 × 26
= 832 m²
Given, increase in area after expanding the length = 650 m²
Increase in area = area of field after expanding the length - area of initial rectangular field
650 = expanded length × 26 - 832
650 + 832 = expanded length × 26
1482 = expanded length × 26
Expanded length = 1482/26
= 741/13
= 57 m
Therefore, the expanded length is 57 m.
