NCERT Solutions for Class 12 Maths Chapter 7 Exercise 7.6 Integrals provides questions based on the integration by parts or partial integration method. The partial integration method of integration is quite useful in integrating products of functions. We use the product rule of differentiation to derive the formula for integration by parts. The integral of the product of two functions using integration by parts is given by the formula: (first function) × (integral of the second function) – Integral of [(differential coefficient of the first function) × (integral of the second function)].
