NCERT Solutions Class 10 Maths Chapter 11 exercise 11.2 Constructions explains the construction of tangents to a circle with center O from a point P outside it. The key is to be focused, patient and solve all problems at least twice. The steps for this construction are as follows:
- We join P to O and bisect it at a point N making it the midpoint.
- Next, we draw a circle of radius NO and N being the center.
- This intersects the given circle at two points, say, S and T.
- We now join P to S (PS) and P to T (PT).
- Thus, PS and PT are our required tangents.
