In which quadrant or on which axis each of the following points lie? (-3, 5), (4, -1), (2, 0), (2, 2), (-3, -6)

Given, the points are (-3, 5), (4, -1), (2, 0), (2, 2) and (-3, -6)

We have to find the quadrant or in which axis do the points lie.

Let the point (-3, 5) be P.

The x-coordinate is negative and the y-coordinate is positive.

So, the point P lies in the second quadrant.

Let the point (4, -1) be Q.

The x-coordinate is positive and the y-coordinate is negative.

So, the point Q lies in the fourth quadrant.

Let the point (2, 0) be R.

The x-coordinate is positive and the y-coordinate is 0.

So, the point R lies on the x-axis.

Let the point (2, 2) be S.

The x-coordinate is positive and the y-coordinate is positive.

So, the point S lies in the first quadrant.

Let the point (-3, -6) be T.

The x-coordinate is negative and the y-coordinate is negative.

So, the point T lies in the third quadrant.
