According to the question,
Overall percent needed = 70%
Total marks = 3(100) = 300
So, marks needed to obtain 70% = 70% of 300
= (70/100) × 300
= 70 × 3
= 210
Let the marks to be obtained in the third paper be x.
So, 53 + 75 + x = 210
128 + x = 210
x = 210 - 128
x = 82
Therefore, the required mark is 82.
