If three angles of a quadrilateral are each equal to 75°, the fourth angle is
(a) 150°
(b) 135°
(c) 45°
(d) 75°
Solution:
Given, the three angles of a quadrilateral are each equal to 75°
We have to find the fourth angle.
Let the fourth angle be x.
We know that the sum of the angles of a quadrilateral is equal to 360 degrees.
So, 75° + 75° + 75° + x = 360°
3(75°) + x = 360°
225° + x = 360°
x = 360° - 225°
x = 135°
Therefore, the fourth angle is 135°
✦ Try This: If three angles of a quadrilateral are each equal to 50°, the fourth angle is (a) 150°, (b) 210°, (c) 45°, (d) 75°
