∠1 + 90° = 180°

We know that the sum of exterior angles of a polygon is equal to 360 degrees.

90° + 40° + x + 60° + 90° = 360°

130° + x + 150° = 360°

x + 280° = 360°

x = 360° - 280°

x = 80°

Therefore, the required value of x is 80°
