Find the side of a cube whose surface area is 600 cm²
Solution:
Let the length of each side of the cube be l.
Given that, the surface area of cube = 600 cm²
We know that, the surface area of cube = 6 × (side)²
Therefore,
600 cm² = 6 × (l)²
l² = 100 cm²
l = 10 cm
Thus, the side of the cube is 10 cm.
