Solution:
Area of square = (side)²
Given, area of the square = 625 square units
As represented in the figure, side = (4x + 5)
∴ Area of square = (side)²
625 = (side)²
Side = √625 = 25 units
4x + 5 = 25
4x = 25 - 5
4x = 20
x = 5
