A googol is the number 1 followed by 100 zeroes. How is a googol times a googol written as a power
Solution:
Given, a googol is the number 1 followed by 100 zeroes.
We have to write googol times of googol as a power.
Required value = googol × googol
For any non-zero integers ‘a’ and whole numbers m
a × a × a⋯ m times = am
Googol = 10000………..000
= 1 × 10100
= 10100
So, googol × googol = 10100 × 10100
For any non-zero integers ‘a’ and ‘b’ and whole numbers m and n,
am × an = am+n
= 10100 + 100
= 10200
Therefore, the required value is 10200.
